The studio
We build the object a room is remembered by.
Centerpiece Sets & Production is a small props and exhibition studio working across film, photography, retail and cultural projects. We keep the team deliberately short — the people who draw the piece are the people who build it.
Every job starts with the same two questions: what is it made of, and how close does the camera or the visitor get? From there we work in materials you can handle — plaster, timber, brass, foam and paint.

What we do
Props & exhibits, end to end
- 01
Prop fabrication & set dressing
Built in foam, timber, plaster and brass — made to read correctly on camera and survive being handled all day.
- 02
Exhibition design & build
Plinths, walls, cases and lighting planned around the objects on show and the route visitors actually take.
- 03
Furniture & millwork
One-off pieces, counters and fixtures drawn to the millimetre, finished by hand and delivered ready to install.
- 04
Graphics, install & strike
Labels, finishes and fixing on site, then a clean, careful strike once the show or the shoot wraps.
How it works
From first sketch to install day.
Four stages, one team throughout. You always know who is on the bench, what is being built and when it leaves the shop.
- 01
Brief & scope
A call, your references, and a walk through the space if there is one. We come back with a scope, a budget band and a date we can hold.
- 02
Design & drawings
Sketches, material samples and shop drawings. Nothing goes to the bench until you have seen exactly what is going into the room.
- 03
Fabrication
Built in our Brooklyn shop — carpentry, foam and plaster work, metal, finishing and paint matched to your samples.
- 04
Install & handover
Delivered, assembled and touched up on site. We stay until the last seam is closed, then leave care notes for whoever keeps it.
